This is a truly fantastic article, and really understands what’s needed next from a user perspective imo, I love the mall analogy. There are so many great stores inside, with no front door to currently walk through. Cheers, and keep up the great work!

Cheers Yfozaor! I’m really glad the mall analogy resonated. It’s such a unique problem to have, incredible tech (the stores) just waiting for a proper entrance (the UI). Thanks for following the journey.

Keep up the information flow I like what you’re doing. I was looking into microcosms about a month ago at least we’re on the same page. I believe once this gets easier the volume of people will grow immensely.

Appreciate the support Keith. We’re definitely on the same page, if you were looking at Macrocosmos a month ago, you’re looking in the right places. Once the tech gets out of the way and it just works, that’s when things get really interesting. Thanks for reading.

My biggest frustration today is discovery + trust: it’s still hard to answer fast “which room should I use for this job, and why should I trust the output?” Quality signals, pricing, latency, and onboarding aren’t legible enough for normal users.

One extra soft signal (at least from Substack): the public feedback loop still feels thin. There are strong posts not just on UX but on broader Bittensor concepts too, yet you rarely see visible “we heard you, here’s how we think about it / what we’re building” responses from builders.

Thanks for your comment Agisilaos, you're right Bittensor is actually too complex for its own good right now. The tech and incentives are there, 2026 is the year to remove the friction and show the wider audience how it can be used. I agree with you on the public feedback loop, Substack is not as effective (yet) for getting a pulse on the market or interaction from builders. That may change when they have to move out of their comfort zone and embrace a wider audience to expand.
